We are pleased that you are using our mytonies app. Our App-Tonies are always hard at work for you. In this update, they have once again worked on improvements.
If your mobile phone memory is full during a recording, you can now save your recording until then.
We have also optimised some steps in the setup process of the Toniebox:
The request for access rights has been corrected.
WLAN names (SSIDs) can now also be entered manually.
Occasionally it can happen that the set up process was successful despite the code word "hedgehog". This is now displayed.

Ratings and Reviews
Easy to use, but too simple with no diagnostics
Our kids have been loving their Tonies, we’ve got family abroad that have been recording stories which are played over and over, really great.
The incredibly simple physical controls are great when things work, but this simplicity extends to the app, which provides no information about battery charge state, firmware version etc and is useless for any attempts to debug or solve issues (our speaker recently stopped working). It would be great for some of these diagnostics to be displayed in the app, it seems remote support can see this info, so why not make it visible? If this was augmented it would make the toniebox even more useful - so I need to charge before jumping in the car on that trip, etc
A lot of things I love
There are a a lot of things I love about the app! I love that family that lives far away can record and send books and messages! It has been great for building relationships with family I only see two or three times a year.
I wish that the settings for tapping to change tracks and tipping to fast forward and rewind were separate options. My little guy is really really good at changing back-and-forth between tracks when he wants to, but not holding it straight, gets frustrated when he tips it and it fast forward or rewinds.
Not Accessible for Special Needs
I love this device my daughter can engage audibly but she is medically complex/special needs and cannot “interact” with the device as intended. With that said I hope the Tonies creators will take this into consideration and make an option on the app to skip between tracks. I’m sure I’m not the only one who could benefit from that option. This is the I Ku reason I give 3 stars if this ever become an option then this device is 5 stars all the way!
